A Design Degree You Can Put to Work

With a degree in design, you can virtually write your own ticket. The Art Institute of Raleigh-Durham offers a Bachelor's of Arts in Interior Design and both an Associate's and Bachelor's Degree in Graphic design to people who are creative, inspired, and looking to acquire the tools to make it in the creative world.

A graphic design degree means that you are qualified to work in print, film, television, and online, creating ideas and making them a reality. As a graphic designer, you will be expected to learn the basics of art and how to turn concepts and vague ideas into real, working models. You will learn about light and color, texture and layout, all fundamentals for any great graphic designer.

An interior designer may sound just like someone who moves couches around and paints walls, but it is so much more than that. A good interior designer is someone who understands human psychology, flow, feeling, design, and structure, and can put them all to work. An Interior Design degree from the Art Institute of Raleigh-Durham will give you all the instruction you need to work in one of many different industries as a designer.
